José Esteves
José Esteves, Dean and President of the Executive Board at Porto Business School brings 25+ years of experience in teaching, consulting, and coaching on information systems, digital strategy, and innovation in the digital world. The remarkable leader worked at the renowned IE Business School before joining the organization. He began his career with Sonae, one of the most well-known Portuguese businesses. The University of Minho awarded José Esteves a degree in information systems; he also has a doctorate from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia in Barcelona and has completed post-graduate work at Harvard Business School.
Patrícia Teixeira Lopes
Patricia Lopes is an inspiring business leader and professor who serves as vice dean of the Porto Business School. She has a Ph.D. in business sciences from the University of Porto’s Faculty of Economics, as well as a Master’s degree in business sciences with a focus in finance and a graduate degree in management. She held the positions of professor at the Porto Faculty of Economics from 1994 to 2015, vice-rector of the University of Porto from 2008 to 2015, and director of the training division at Euronext Lisbon from 1995 to 2002.
Luís Garrido Marques
Vice Dean of Porto Business School, Luis Garrido Marquesis, is a dynamic professional and educator. He earned his MBA in business from IESE Business School. The largest retailer in Portugal, Sonae, had him as its Head of Trade for Home, Fashion, and Electronics. He was in charge of Yammi’s development and brand management. He joined the team that established the Continente Loyalty Card team during his professional career, which was applied in several retail areas (marketing, sales, and operations).
